River Ridge is a beautiful senior community located just off Mullan Road near Reserve Street at 2840 Santa Fe Court. The 70-unit complex has three stories with 57 one-bedroom and 13 two-bedroom apartments. There are two elevators, laundry rooms on all three floors, a beautiful community room for resident activities and an additional common area for gathering on each floor. Bus service comes directly to the front door. In 2016, River Ridge underwent a complete interior and exterior renovation, with additional improvements to the grounds. During the rehabilitation project, River Ridge was able to achieve large gains in energy efficiency through building envelope improvements (new windows and doors, building sheathing and membrane replacement and added insulation), and systemic upgrades (new high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, LED light fixtures and elevators). Apartments received new flooring and paint, kitchens with new countertops, appliances, dishwashers and garbage disposals, all new bathroom fixtures including the addition of 25 walk-in showers, and air conditioning. All utility costs are included in the rent. River Ridge’s location provides easy access to the many shopping, dining and entertainment activities available on Reserve Street, just two blocks away.
