***We will continue to post updates regarding COVID-19 policy changes on this News post***
Here at Missoula Housing Authority we understand that having a safe place to call home is essential, not optional. We place first and foremost the health and well-being of our tenants, participants, staff, and community partners. We understand the families we serve are among those most at risk, including for economic impacts. The Governor’s office has confirmed that housing authority employees are deemed essential workers and our staff will continue to be available to provide rental assistance and homes for the Missoula community. We will take extra precautions to make sure everyone is as safe as possible. We are constantly monitoring the CDC, the state Department of Public Health & Human Services (DPHHS), and the Missoula City-County Public Health Department to make sure we have the most up-to-date information about COVID-19.
Effective March 16, 2020 all MHA offices are closed to the public. We have not yet set a date when we will reopen. We will continue to serve the public via mail, phone, fax, email, and virtual appointment. If you need to turn in paperwork, there is a new paperwork dropbox located at our main office, to the left of the front door. Please do not put paperwork in the rent payment dropbox (to the right of the front door). Please continue to call in work orders to your Property Manager, but be aware that unless it is an emergency, it could be several weeks before the work order will be addressed. If you are having difficulty paying your rent as a result of income changes due to COVID-19, please contact your Property Manager right away to discuss payment options.
Please review the attached COVID-19 Policy effective March 16, 2020, revised March 17, 2020. We will post updates on our website as well as on our Facebook page.
