As part of MHA’s repositioning of its Public Housing program to Project-Based Section 8 Voucher (through the Voluntary Conversion process), MHA has closed its Public Housing and Maclay Commons Project-Based Section 8 Voucher waitlists. These waitlists will be combined into a new Project-Based Section 8 Voucher waitlist upon completion of the Voluntary Conversion process. Families already on these waitlists (Public Housing and Maclay Commons) will retain their position on these waitlists. They will also be automatically transferred to the new Project-Based Section 8 Voucher waitlist with the same date and time of application unless they ask to be removed.
