Subsidized Housing

Missoula Housing Authority manages several subsidized housing and rental assistance programs. In these programs, typically a participant pays 30% of their monthly income toward rent. While the participant is receiving rental assistance, they are required to follow the guidelines and regulations set forth by Missoula Housing Authority and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. These can be found in Family Obligations. Our subsidized housing programs have waiting lists of one to five years. If you are interested in getting on the waiting list, please visit our How to Apply page. If you’re a current participant of one of our subsidized housing programs, please visit our Current Participants page.

We manage the following subsidized housing programs:

Housing Choice Voucher
Shelter Plus Care
Uptown Apartments
YWCA Transitional Housing
Valor House
811 Program
Maclay Commons
Public Housing
Silvertip PBRA
